Hammond 1582T8D1BK 1U 8-Outlet 15A Rack PDU With Pilot Light

The 1582T8D1BK is a 1U horizontal rack mount basic PDU from the Hammond 1582 series, built for 19" rack and cabinet installations where power needs to be distributed from the front of the unit. It carries eight NEMA 5-15R outlets on the front face and none on the rear, making it suited to IT racks, AV equipment racks and OEM assemblies where cords are dressed forward for quick access.

Construction is painted steel, finished front and back in black (RAL9005 textured black powder coat per the series), and the series finish complies with Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. The 1582T8D1BK is the pilot-light version of this configuration: it has no on/off switch and instead uses a red power indicator light, with a resettable 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker on the front panel to guard against accidental overload.

Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide by 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, so the unit consumes a single rack unit in a standard 19" EIA rack.
