The 1582T8B1BK is a 1U, 19-inch rack mount basic PDU (outlet strip) with eight front-facing NEMA 5-15R receptacles, rated 15 A single-phase at 120/125 VAC. It is built for IT, AV and industrial users who need straightforward horizontal power distribution at the front of a rack or cabinet, where cords and plugs stay visible and accessible. This version carries a red power indicator light (the "T" designation in the series nomenclature) rather than an illuminated on/off rocker switch, so connected loads are powered whenever the plug is energised.
