Hammond 1582T6A1 1U 15A Gray Rack PDU, 6 Front 5-15R Outlets

The 1582T6A1 is a 1U horizontal 19-inch rack mount basic power distribution unit that delivers 15 A single-phase power to six front-facing NEMA 5-15R outlets. It is intended for IT, AV and OEM installations where equipment cords are patched from the front of the rack, and for facilities teams who need a compact, straightforward power strip in a standard 19-inch frame.

This version uses a red illuminated power indicator light rather than an on/off rocker switch, so power is always available to the outlets while the pilot light confirms the feed. A resettable 15 Amp, 125 VAC circuit breaker is built in to guard against accidental overload. Power is supplied by a heavy-duty 14 gauge, 14/3 SJT cord rated for extreme temperature ranges with an integral moulded straight-blade NEMA 5-15P plug, 6 ft in length. The 1582T6A1 does not include surge protection, ammeter metering, rotated outlets or a shielded cord.

Construction is painted steel with front and back finished in ASA 61 grey powder coat, which complies with Greenguard guidelines for indoor air quality. Overall dimensions are 1.72 in (44 mm) high by 19.00 in (483 mm) wide by 2.66 in (68 mm) deep, with a 17.500 in mounting-hole span and a shipping weight of 3.4 lbs (1.54 kg).

The unit is rated 125 VAC, 60 Hz, 15 Amps and is CSA Certified to C22.2 No. 21-95 and No. 42-99 and UL Recognized to Standard UL1363 (UL file E166039). It is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, TAA-compliant for federal GSA schedule purchases within the USA, and manufactured in North America.
