The 1582H6C1BKRA is a 1U horizontal rack mount basic PDU from the Hammond 1582 Series, built for 19-inch racks and cabinets where power has to be distributed from the front of the unit. It carries six front-facing NEMA 5-15R outlets (no rear outlets) rated 15 A at 125 VAC, 60 Hz, making it suited to IT, AV, broadcast and industrial equipment racks that need straightforward, switched power distribution in a single rack unit.

This version uses rotated outlets, which add extra spacing so most plug-in transformers and oversized wall packs can be seated without blocking the neighbouring receptacle. An illuminated on/off rocker switch provides local control, and a resettable 15 A, 125 VAC circuit breaker guards against accidental overload. Power is supplied by a heavy-duty 14 gauge, 14/3 SJT cord with an integral moulded plug, rated for extreme temperature ranges; this part ships with a 6 ft cord and the series ordering table and drawing identify the plug as a NEMA L5-15P locking type (the part attribute data lists 5-15P, so confirm the plug style for your receptacle before ordering).
