Hammond 1557HABK 200 x 70 mm Black ABS Watertight Enclosure, IP66

The 1557HABK is a black ABS plastic watertight enclosure measuring 200 mm x 200 mm x 70 mm (7.87 in x 7.87 in x 2.76 in). It is the general purpose ABS version of the 1557HA profile, a practical choice for electronics designers and integrators who need a sealed, good-looking housing for printed circuit boards in indoor locations.

The ABS is a general purpose material with a UL94-HB flammability rating. This version is not UL listed, but it has been tested to and meets IP66, and it carries an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021. Recommended operating temperature is -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F). The lid seals with two piece tongue and groove construction and a one piece high temperature UL listed silicone gasket, fastened with four M4 stainless steel screws threaded into corrosion resistant bushings.

The 1557HABK comes with the box, lid, four cover screws, preformed silicone gasket, four rubber feet, four wall mount feet and four wall mount foot screws. It can sit on a bench or desk, mount to a wall with the feet facing outward as a heavy duty flange, or mount flush with the feet used as keyhole slots over #8 pan head screws (not included). Install the ABS feet at 80 - 90 cN-m (7 - 8 lbf-in).
