Hammond 1557HAGY 200 x 70 mm Gray ABS Watertight Enclosure, IP66

The 1557HAGY is a light gray (RAL7035) ABS plastic watertight enclosure with a 200 mm x 200 mm footprint and 70 mm total height (7.87 in x 7.87 in x 2.76 in). It gives electronics builders and facilities teams a clean, rounded housing for circuit boards and small assemblies installed indoors.

This general purpose ABS version carries a UL94-HB flammability rating and is intended for indoor use. It is not UL listed, but has been tested to and meets IP66, with an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and a recommended operating temperature of -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F). Sealing comes from a two piece tongue and groove lid and a one piece high temperature UL listed silicone gasket; four M4 stainless steel screws thread into corrosion resistant bushings for repeated access.

Inside you get 191.02 mm x 191.02 mm of length and width and 63.80 mm (2.51 in) of height. PC boards up to 187 mm x 187 mm mount on bosses that accept #6 self-tapping screws (SC526-50 PC board screw packs are listed as an accessory). Shipping weight is 1.05 lbs (0.48 kg).

The 1557HAGY includes four rubber feet for tabletop use and four wall mount feet with screws for either a heavy duty wall flange mount or a flush wall mount using keyhole slots. Recommended foot installation torque for ABS is 80 - 90 cN-m (7 - 8 lbf-in). Replacement gray ABS feet come as 1557FOOTGY-24.
