Hammond 1557DABK 120mm Square, 70mm Tall Black ABS Watertight Box

The 1557DABK is a black general purpose ABS enclosure in the deeper 1557DA profile, measuring 4.72 in x 4.72 in x 2.76 in (120 mm x 120 mm x 70 mm). It is a cost-conscious choice for indoor electronics, where a sealed box with room for a 108.5 mm PC board and taller parts is needed.

The ABS body has been tested to and meets IP66, and the lid seals with two piece tongue and groove construction and a one piece high temperature UL listed silicone gasket. Four M4 stainless steel machine screws thread into corrosion resistant bushings for repeated access; the drawing recommends 71-85 ozf-in (50-60 cN-m).

The 1557DABK is supplied with four rubber feet, four wall mount feet and four wall mount foot screws, supporting tabletop, flush wall (keyhole) and heavy duty wall flange mounting; ABS feet install at 80 - 90 cN-m (7 - 8 lbf-in). The ABS version is not UL listed. Shipping weight is 0.56 lbs (0.25 kg), shrink wrapped.
