The 1556HBK is the low-profile, 45 mm version of the 200 x 200 mm 1556 enclosure, molded in black flame retardant ABS. It is designed for printed circuit boards, IoT equipment and other small electronics that need a large, flat footprint for indoor installation.
Outside dimensions are 7.87 x 7.87 x 1.77 in (200 x 200 x 45 mm). The drawing shows inside length and width of 193.21 mm [7.61 in] and an inside height of 39.00 mm [1.54 in]. Boards up to 180 x 180 mm are supported and can fasten to bosses in the lid or base with #6 self-tapping screws, or to the optional 1556HPL aluminum inner panel.
Lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water and the enclosure is designed to meet IP54. The ABS carries a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, has a light satin texture, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. The series is for indoor use and is not designed for outdoor installation.
The 1556HBK ships shrink wrapped with the box, lid, 4 cover screws and 4 rubber feet for desktop use. For wall installation, add the black 1556FOOTBK-4 foot kit to create a heavy duty flange mount or a flush keyhole mount; for poles, PMB110127KIT3 (7" max.) and PMB110127KIT4 (15" max.) are listed for the 1556H profile.
