The 1556BWH is a white, low-profile 1556 series enclosure measuring 3.15 in x 3.15 in x 1.77 in (80 mm x 80 mm x 45 mm). It is designed to hold printed circuit boards, IoT equipment and other small electronics indoors, on a desk or on a wall.
It is molded from white flame retardant ABS carrying a UL94 V-0 rating, finished in a light satin texture with rounded corners and face. Lap joint construction keeps out dust and splashing water; the enclosure is designed to meet IP54 and is not designed for outdoor use.
Inside length is 74.40 mm [2.93 in], inside width 74.18 mm [2.92 in] and inside height 40.00 mm [1.57 in]. It accepts PC boards up to 71 mm x 71 mm on lid and base bosses that take #6 self-tapping screws, or the 1556BPL aluminum inner panel sold separately.
The enclosure comes with its lid, four #6 x 1/2" Plastite cover screws and four rubber feet. The white 1556FOOTWH-4 kit adds heavy duty flange or flush keyhole wall mounting, and PMB5057WKIT1 (7" max.) or PMB5057WKIT2 (15" max.) provide pole mounting.
