The 1556CABK is a black rectangular 1556 series enclosure measuring 4.72 in x 3.15 in x 2.36 in (120 mm x 80 mm x 60 mm). It is designed for printed circuit boards, IoT equipment and small electronics that need a longer footprint than the 80 x 80 mm sizes, in indoor desktop or wall-mount installations.
The housing is flame retardant ABS rated UL94 V-0 with a light satin texture and rounded corners and face. Lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP54. The series is not designed for outdoor use.
Drawing inside dimensions are 114.18 mm [4.50 in] long, 74.18 mm [2.92 in] wide and 55.00 mm [2.17 in] high. PC boards up to 111 mm x 71 mm mount to bosses in the lid and base using #6 self-tapping screws (42-56 ozf-in, 30-40 cN-m), or use the 1556CPL aluminum inner panel sold separately.
Included with the enclosure are the lid, four #6 x 1/2" high strength self-tapping Plastite cover screws and four rubber feet. Add the 1556FOOTBK-4 black foot kit for heavy duty flange or flush keyhole wall mounting, or PMB5057KIT1 (7" max.) and PMB5057KIT2 (15" max.) for pole mounting. Shipping weight is 0.26 lbs (0.12 kg).
