The 1555UL2GY is the low-profile 200 x 120 mm polycarbonate enclosure in the 1555 Series, only 45 mm (1.77 in) tall and finished in light gray RAL 7035. It is aimed at designers packaging a single long circuit board, or a slim DIN rail device, for outdoor or wet locations where a listed enclosure is required.
Polycarbonate versions are UV stabilized for outdoor use and are cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324. This part is listed at IP68, and the series is independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. It carries a UL94 5VA flame rating, an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and a recommended operating range of -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
The drawing shows an inside length of 192.98 mm and inside height of 37.45 mm. Boards up to 190.5 x 106.6 mm fix to M3 brass inserts or to standoffs for #6 self tapping screws, and the 1554UPL steel inner panel is available separately. DIN rail tabs and 1.5 mm card guides are molded in.
The tongue and groove lid seals on a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket (supplied loose) and is secured by four included self captivating M4 stainless steel screws in corrosion resistant inserts. Four 4.30 mm wall-mounting holes outside the gasket channel also accept the 1554FT foot kit.
