The 1555UA2GY sits in the middle of the 200 x 120 mm range: a light gray (RAL 7035) polycarbonate enclosure with 60 mm (2.36 in) of total height. It suits outdoor board-level electronics, such as controllers, gateways and sensor interfaces, where the full-depth 91 mm body would be more than needed.
The polycarbonate is UV stabilized for outdoor use, and the version is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324. It is listed at IP68, and the series is independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 as well as NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. Flame rating is UL94 5VA, impact rating IK08 per IEC 62262:2021, and the recommended operating range is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
The drawing shows an inside length of 192.47 mm and an inside height of 51.90 mm. Boards up to 190.5 x 106.6 mm mount on integral M3 brass inserts or on standoffs that accept #6 self tapping screws, and the 1554UPL steel inner panel is available separately. DIN rail tabs and 1.5 mm vertical card guides are molded in.
The gasketed tongue and groove lid is fastened with four included self captivating M4 stainless steel screws into corrosion resistant inserts, sealing on a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket supplied loose. Four 4.30 mm mounting holes outside the gasket channel also serve the 1554FT foot kit.
