Hammond 1555T2GY 180x120x91mm Polycarbonate NEMA 4X Enclosure

The 1555T2GY is a rectangular 180 x 120 mm enclosure with 91 mm (3.58 in) of total height, molded in UV stabilized polycarbonate and finished in light gray RAL 7035. The deep body makes it a practical choice for outdoor controls, sensor interfaces and DIN rail assemblies that need a listed, sealed housing.

Polycarbonate versions are cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, and have been independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13; this part is listed as IP68. It carries a UL94 5VA flame rating, an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and a recommended operating range of -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).

The drawing shows inside dimensions of 172.13 x 108.06 mm with 82.00 mm of inside height, and the maximum board size listed is 106.68 x 167.13 mm. Integral M3 brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self tapping screws, molded DIN rail tabs and vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards give several internal layouts; the 1554HPL steel inner panel is sold separately.

The tongue and groove lid closes on a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket (supplied loose) with four included self captivating M4 stainless steel screws in corrosion resistant inserts, torqued to 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m) per the drawing. Four 4.00 mm wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and also accept the 1554FT foot kit.
