Hammond 1555RLGY 160x160x45mm Low-Profile ABS Enclosure

The 1555RLGY is a shallow, square enclosure in general purpose ABS, measuring 160 x 160 x 45 mm (6.30 x 6.30 x 1.77 in) and finished in light gray RAL 7035. It is intended for indoor electronics where a low-height watertight box is enough: small controllers, interface boards and DIN rail mounted devices.

ABS versions carry a UL94 HB flame rating, are not UL listed, and have been tested to and meet IP66. The impact rating is IK07 per IEC 62262:2021 and the recommended operating temperature is -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F). The lid seals with a two-piece tongue and groove joint and a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket that ships loose inside the enclosure, and it is closed by four included self captivating M4 stainless steel screws threaded into corrosion resistant inserts.

Inside, the drawing shows 152.98 mm of length and 36.95 mm of height. Boards up to 150.9 x 147.4 mm mount on integral M3 brass inserts or on standoffs for #6 self tapping screws, and the optional 1554RPL steel inner panel is available. DIN rail tabs and vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards are molded in, and the lid interior has standoffs for #6 self tapping screws.

Four 4.30 mm wall-mounting holes are located outside the gasket channel and double as the fixing points for the 1554FT foot kit. For outdoor or listed installations in the same size, choose the polycarbonate 1555RL2GY.
