Hammond 1555UGY 200x120x91mm Deep ABS Enclosure, IP66

The 1555UGY is the deepest 200 x 120 mm enclosure in the ABS line, with 91 mm (3.58 in) of total height in light gray RAL 7035. It is suited to indoor controls and instrumentation that need a long DIN rail row, terminal blocks or taller components inside a watertight box.

As a general purpose ABS part it carries a UL94 HB flame rating and is intended for indoor use. It is not UL listed, but has been tested to and meets IP66, with an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and a recommended operating temperature of -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F). The lid seals through a two-piece tongue and groove joint with a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket (supplied loose) and four included self captivating M4 stainless steel screws; the drawing recommends 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m).

Inside, the drawing shows 192.13 x 108.13 mm with 82.00 mm of height. Boards up to 106.6 x 190.45 mm mount to M3 brass inserts or to #6 self tapping screw standoffs, and the separately sold 1554UPL steel inner panel fits in the box or the lid. DIN rail tabs and vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards are molded in.

Four 4.00 mm wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and also take the 1554FT foot kit. The UV stabilized, UL 508A listed polycarbonate equivalent is 1555U2GY.
