The 1555S2GY is the deepest of the 160 x 160 mm sizes in the 1555 Series, giving 91 mm (3.58 in) of total height in UV stabilized polycarbonate. Finished in light gray RAL 7035, it is a good fit for integrators and OEMs housing taller components, terminal blocks on DIN rail, or stacked boards outdoors.
Polycarbonate versions are cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324 and have been independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13; this part is listed as IP68. The material carries a UL94 5VA flame rating, the impact rating is IK08 per IEC 62262:2021, and the recommended operating range is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
The drawing shows inside dimensions of 152.13 x 148.13 mm with 81.50 mm of inside height. Printed circuit boards up to 147.4 x 150.95 mm fix to integral M3 brass inserts, or to standoffs designed for #6 self tapping screws; the 1554RPL steel inner panel (ordered separately) fits in the box or lid. DIN rail tabs and 1.5 mm vertical card guides are molded in.
Four included self captivating M4 stainless steel screws close the tongue and groove lid onto a replaceable silicone gasket, supplied loose; the drawing recommends 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m) of torque. Wall-mounting holes outside the gasket channel also accept the 1554FT foot kit.
