The 1555R2F17GY is a low-profile, UL listed polycarbonate enclosure from the 1555F Series with a flanged base for wall mounting. It is aimed at builders of outdoor wireless, security and control electronics who need a watertight 160 mm square housing for a circuit board or DIN rail components.
The series table gives 6.30 x 6.30 x 1.50 in (160 x 160 x 38 mm) not including flanges. The drawing shows 200.00 mm [7.87 in] overall length with flanges, 178.00 mm [7.01 in] flange hole spacing, 37.70 mm [1.48 in] assembled height, 17.44 mm [.69 in] inner box depth and 12.50 mm [.49 in] inner lid depth. The part page lists a maximum P.C. board size of 148 mm length by 149 mm width.

The light gray RAL7035 lid carries a smooth recessed area for a membrane keypad or label and seals with a tongue and groove joint and loose-supplied one-piece silicone gasket. M4 stainless steel screws behind the lid thread into corrosion resistant inserts. Internal standoffs accept #4 x 1/4" self-tapping screws for the 1555RFPL galvanized steel inner panel, sold separately. The unit ships shrink wrapped at 0.31 lbs (0.14 kg).
