Hammond 1555QF42GY 140mm Square Deep ABS Flanged Enclosure, IP66

The 1555QF42GY is the deeper general purpose ABS enclosure in the Q size of the 1555F Series. Integrators and OEM designers use it to house printed circuit boards, inner panels or DIN rail mounted components where the extra depth of the 62 mm height is needed but an indoor-rated ABS body is sufficient.

Not including flanges, the 1555QF42GY measures 5.55 x 5.51 x 2.44 in (141 x 140 x 62 mm). The drawing gives 180.00 mm [7.09 in] overall length across the flanges, 158.00 mm [6.22 in] flange hole spacing, 62.20 mm [2.45 in] assembled height, 42.00 mm [1.65 in] inner box depth and 12.00 mm [.47 in] inner lid depth. It ships at 0.7 lbs (0.32 kg).

The material is general purpose ABS with a UL94-HB flammability rating for indoor use. ABS versions are not UL listed but have been tested to and meet IP66, carry an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and have a recommended operating range of -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F).

The lid has a satin RAL7035 grey finish with a smooth recessed surface for a membrane keypad or label, and seals with a two-piece tongue and groove joint and one-piece silicone gasket supplied loose. M4 stainless steel lid screws sit behind the lid in corrosion resistant inserts, with a recommended torque of 2.5 lbf-in (30 cN-m). Molded DIN rail tabs and standoffs for #4 x 1/4" self-tapping screws support the optional 1554QPL steel inner panel.
