The 1555QF17GY is the low-profile, general purpose ABS model in the Q size of the 1555F Series watertight flanged enclosures. It suits electronics designers and panel builders who need a sealed, wall-mounted housing for a printed circuit board, small panel or DIN rail mounted components in indoor locations.
The body measures 5.55 x 5.51 x 1.46 in (141 x 140 x 37 mm) not including flanges. The drawing shows 180.00 mm [7.09 in] overall length with the flanges, 158.00 mm [6.22 in] flange hole spacing, a 37.20 mm [1.46 in] assembled height, 17.00 mm [.67 in] inner box depth and 12.00 mm [.47 in] inner lid depth. Shipping weight is 0.58 lbs (0.26 kg).
ABS versions are molded from general purpose UL94-HB material for indoor use. They are not UL listed but have been tested to and meet IP66, carry an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and have a recommended operating temperature of -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F).

- Two-piece tongue and groove lid with a one-piece silicone gasket, supplied loose
- M4 stainless steel lid screws in corrosion resistant inserts, secured behind the lid
- DIN rail tabs molded into the lid and standoffs for #4 x 1/4" self-tapping screws (1555TS100)
Accessories for the 1555QF17GY include the 1554QPL steel inner panel and the 1554QGASKET replacement gasket pair. A UL listed polycarbonate equivalent is available as 1555Q2F17GY.
