Hammond 1555LF17GY 106x105x37 mm Square ABS Flanged Enclosure

The 1555LF17GY is the general purpose ABS version of the compact, near-square 1555LF enclosure. It is a watertight, flanged box in RAL7035 grey for indoor electronics such as small control boards, alarm and access control modules and wall-mounted interfaces.

The series table places this part in the ABS column, and the drawing lists it as General Purpose ABS RAL-7035. ABS versions carry a UL94 HB rating, are not UL listed but have been tested to and meet IP66, have an IK07 impact rating and are recommended for -20°C to +60°C, for indoor use.

Part page size is 4.13 x 4.13 x 1.46 in (105 x 105 x 37 mm); the series table gives 106 x 105 x 37 mm without flanges. The drawing shows a 145.00 mm overall length with flanges, 4X Ø5.00 mm holes at 123.00 mm centres, a 17.00 mm inner box depth and a 12.00 mm inner lid depth. It ships at 0.38 lbs (0.17 kg).

The 1555LF17GY closes with four M4 stainless steel screws into corrosion resistant inserts over a one-piece silicone gasket supplied loose. Six Ø2.25 mm bosses accept #4 self-tapping screws for a PC board or the 1554LPL steel inner panel, and DIN rail tabs are molded into the lid. The polycarbonate equivalent is 1555L2F17GY.
