Hammond 1555JFPL 148x76 mm Galvanized Steel Inner Panel, 1555JF Size

The 1555JFPL is a galvanized steel inner panel made for the 1555JF enclosures in the 1555F watertight, flanged series. It gives integrators and panel builders a flat metal surface to mount components, terminal strips or modules inside the enclosure instead of screwing directly into the plastic standoffs.

The series ordering table lists 1555JFPL as the inner panel for all four 1555JF enclosures: the ABS 1555JF17GY and 1555JF42GY, and the polycarbonate 1555J2F17GY and 1555J2F42GY. Those enclosures measure 160 x 90 mm, not including flanges, in 38 mm and 62 mm heights, and the enclosure drawings note the steel panel is ordered separately.

The part page lists the panel at 5.83 x 2.99 x 0.06 in (148 x 76 x 2 mm). The panel drawing gives 148.00 mm [5.83 in] by 76.00 mm [2.99 in] with a thickness of 1.63 mm [.06 in] and R9.00 mm corners. Shipping weight is 0.34 lbs (0.15 kg), and the panel ships in shrink wrap.

The enclosure standoffs are designed for #4 x 1/4 in self-tapping screws (part number 1555TS100). The 1555JFPL is RoHS and REACH compliant, and it can be factory modified by milling, drilling or printing on request.
