The 1555LF42GY is the deeper, general purpose ABS model in the compact 1555LF size. Its 62 mm body gives space for DIN rail devices, relays or taller components in an indoor, wall-mounted, IP66 tested housing, making it useful for electricians and OEM builders who need a small but deep box.
In the series table this part is in the ABS column, and the drawing names it General Purpose ABS RAL-7035. ABS is rated UL94 HB and IK07 per IEC 62262:2021; ABS versions are not UL listed but have been tested to and meet IP66, and are recommended for indoor use from -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F).

The 1555LF42GY lid seals on a loose-supplied silicone gasket in a tongue and groove joint and is fastened with M4 stainless screws into corrosion resistant inserts at 2.5 lbf-in. Internal DIN rail tabs, six #4 screw bosses and the optional 1554LPL steel panel give flexible layouts.
