Hammond 1554XA2GY 300x200x120 mm Deep Polycarbonate Enclosure

1554XA2GY is the deeper, 120 mm tall version of the 300 x 200 mm footprint in the 1554 Series, with a light gray (RAL 7035) polycarbonate box and matching solid gray polycarbonate lid. The extra depth gives room for taller components on PC boards or DIN rail, for integrators and OEMs building outdoor or wash-down assemblies.

Nominal size is 11.81 x 7.87 x 4.72 in (300 x 200 x 120 mm); the drawing shows 299.33 x 199.55 x 119.73 mm overall and an interior of 289.09 x 189.31 x 111.75 mm. That is about 30 mm more inside height than the 90 mm 1554X. The listed maximum PC board is 285 x 174 mm.

Internally there are four M3 brass inserts, ten positions for #8 self-tapping screws, molded DIN rail tabs and vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards; the 1554XPL steel inner panel is sold separately. The two piece tongue and groove lid closes with six included M4 stainless steel screws, self-captivating and threaded into corrosion resistant inserts, over a replaceable silicone gasket that ships loose. Torque the screws to 8-9 lbf-in (90-100 cN-m).

The 1554XA2GY is UV stabilized for outdoor use, has a UL94-5VA flame rating, is tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, carries an IK08 impact rating and is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324. Recommended operating temperature is -40°C to +110°C. Four 4.39 mm wall mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel, and foot kit 1554FT-XY fits this size.
