The 1554X2GY is a 300 x 200 x 90 mm polycarbonate enclosure from the 1554 Series with a solid gray lid, built for outdoor and wash-down installations that need a UL listed watertight housing for printed circuit boards or DIN rail mounted components. Integrators, electricians and OEM teams use it when a rectangular footprint larger than the square sizes is needed.
Nominal size is 11.81 x 7.87 x 3.54 in (300 x 200 x 90 mm); the drawing gives 299.33 x 199.55 x 89.80 mm overall. The interior measures 289.09 mm long, 189.31 mm wide and 81.82 mm high, and PC boards up to 285 x 174 mm fit. Four M3 brass inserts, ten positions accepting #8 self-tapping screws, molded DIN rail tabs and 1.5 mm card guides provide internal mounting, with the 1554XPL steel inner panel ordered separately.
Six included M4 stainless steel lid screws (self-captivating) thread into six corrosion resistant inserts in the lid, compressing a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket in a two piece tongue and groove seal. The gasket is supplied loose. Recommended cover screw torque is 8-9 lbf-in (90-100 cN-m).
Solid gray polycarbonate is UV stabilized for outdoor use and carries a UL94-5VA flame rating. 1554X2GY is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, rated IK08 for impact and recommended for -40°C to +110°C. Four 4.39 mm wall mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel; the matching foot kit is 1554FT-XY.
