The 1554WA2GY is the taller, 90 mm version of the square 180 x 180 mm size, molded from UV stabilized light gray (RAL 7035) polycarbonate with a gray polycarbonate lid. The added height gives integrators and OEM engineers room for taller DIN rail devices or PC board components in outdoor installations.
The ordering table lists 7.09 x 7.09 x 3.54 in (180 x 180 x 90 mm); the part page nominal size is 7.1 x 7.1 x 3.54 in, and the drawing shows 90.10 mm [3.55 in] overall height. Inside dimensions are 171.32 x 168.38 x 83.70 mm. PC boards up to 167 x 167.5 mm fit on molded card guides for 1.5 mm boards, M3 brass inserts or #6 self-tapping standoffs, and DIN rail tabs are molded in. The 1554WPL steel inner panel is ordered separately.
This gray polycarbonate model is rated UL94 5VA and is cUL and UL 508A listed under E65324, with the UL Listed Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P mark on its drawing. Series testing covers IP66, IP67, IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. Impact rating is IK08 per IEC 62262:2021, and the recommended operating range is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
Four included stainless steel M4 screws, self-captivating in corrosion resistant inserts, close the tongue and groove lid at 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m); replacements are SC576-50. The silicone gasket (1554WGASKET) ships loose. Four 4.30 mm mounting holes outside the gasket channel also take the 1554FT foot kit. The 1554WA2GY ships shrink wrapped at 1.12 lbs (0.51 kg), RoHS and REACH compliant.
