1554WA2GYSL is the smoked-lid version of the 180 x 180 x 90 mm enclosure in the 1554 Series: a light gray (RAL 7035) polycarbonate box topped with a tinted, smoke polycarbonate lid. It is built for mounting printed circuit boards or DIN rail mounted components where a see-through but darkened cover is preferred, and it is aimed at panel builders, OEM designers and field installers.
Outside, the box measures 7.09 x 7.09 x 3.54 in (180 x 180 x 90 mm) nominal, 90.10 mm tall on the drawing. Inside there is 171.32 mm of length, 168.38 mm of width and 83.70 mm of height. The listed maximum PC board is 167 x 167.5 mm.
- Molded DIN rail tabs and vertical PC card guides for 1.5 mm boards
- Threaded M3 brass inserts plus standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws
- Optional 1554WPL steel inner panel, ordered separately
- Four 4.30 mm wall mounting holes outside the gasket channel, also used by the 1554FT foot kit
Sealing comes from a two piece tongue and groove lid with a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket (shipped loose), closed by four self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws threading into corrosion resistant bushings; torque them to 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m). The polycarbonate construction is UV stabilized, rated IP68 and NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, IK08 for impact, and cUL/UL 508A listed under E65324. The part page gives a UL94 V-0 flame rating, and the recommended operating range is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
