The 1554WAGY is the general purpose ABS member of the 180 x 180 x 90 mm size in the 1554 Series. Box and lid are both light gray (RAL 7035) ABS, making it a cost-conscious choice for indoor projects that still need a gasketed, watertight screw-cover housing for printed circuit boards or DIN rail mounted components.
Nominal dimensions are 7.09 x 7.09 x 3.54 in (180 x 180 x 90 mm). Per the drawing the interior offers 171.32 mm length, 168.38 mm width and 83.70 mm height, and the listed maximum PC board is 167 x 167.5 mm. Inside you get molded DIN rail tabs, threaded M3 brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards; the 1554WPL steel inner panel is available separately.
The lid uses two piece tongue and groove construction with a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket, supplied loose, to keep out oil, dust and water. Four included M4 stainless steel screws thread into corrosion resistant bushings and are self-captivating. Recommended cover screw torque is 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m).
ABS versions are molded from general purpose UL94-HB material for indoor use. They are not UL listed but have been tested to and meet IP66, with an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and a recommended operating range of -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F). Mount 1554WAGY through four 4.30 mm wall holes outside the gasket channel, or fit the 1554FT foot kit.
