The 1554VB2GY is the deep, 120 mm tall version of the 240 x 160 mm footprint in this series, molded from UV stabilized light gray (RAL 7035) polycarbonate with a gray polycarbonate lid. The extra depth suits integrators and OEM engineers mounting taller DIN rail devices or stacked PC board assemblies outdoors.
The ordering table lists 9.45 x 6.30 x 4.72 in (240 x 160 x 120 mm), while the part page gives a nominal 239 x 160 x 119 mm (9.4 x 6.3 x 4.7 in). Inside, the drawing shows 230.24 x 146.24 x 113.30 mm. Maximum PC board size is 145.5 x 226.82 mm, and the interior has molded DIN rail tabs, 1.5 mm card guides, M3 brass inserts and #6 self-tapping standoffs.
Gray polycarbonate is rated UL94 5VA. The 1554VB2GY is cUL and UL 508A listed under E65324 and the drawing carries the UL Listed Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P mark; series testing covers IP66, IP67, IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. It is IK08 impact rated with a recommended operating range of -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
Six included stainless steel M4 screws, self-captivating in corrosion resistant inserts, close the tongue and groove lid at 71-85 ozf-in (50-60 cN-m) onto a replaceable silicone gasket shipped loose. Four 4.50 mm wall mounting holes outside the gasket channel also take the 1554FT foot kit. Accessories include the 1554VAPL inner panel, 1591MM100 M3 panel screws and 1598ATS100 self-tapping screws. Shipping weight is 1.34 lbs (0.61 kg), shrink wrapped, RoHS and REACH compliant.
