Hammond 1554TGY 180x120x90mm Gray ABS Watertight IP66 Enclosure

The 1554TGY is the general purpose ABS model in the 180 x 120 x 90 mm nominal rectangular size of the 1554 Series, with box and lid both in light gray RAL 7035. It gives electronics and panel builders a sealed, indoor enclosure for DIN rail devices or a long PC board at a lower material grade than the polycarbonate versions.

ABS versions use a UL94-HB rated general purpose material for indoor use. They are not UL listed but have been tested to and meet IP66, carry an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021, and are recommended for -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F).

The ordering table lists 7.09 x 4.72 in with a 3.58 in (91 mm) total height, while the part page gives 7.1 x 4.7 x 3.5 in (180 x 119 x 89 mm). The drawing shows 84.50 mm (3.33 in) of inside height and 172.13 mm (6.78 in) of inside length, and the maximum PC board is 106.68 x 167.13 mm. DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts for #6 self-tapping screws and card guides are molded in.

Each 1554TGY includes box, lid, four cover screws and a preformed silicone gasket supplied loose. Screws are self-captivating M4 stainless steel into corrosion resistant inserts, torqued to 43-57 oz f-in (30-40 cN-m). Accessories include the 1554HPL steel inner panel and 1554FT foot kit. Shipping weight is 0.86 lbs (0.39 kg), shrink wrapped.
