The 1554U2GY is the long rectangular 200 x 120 x 90 mm nominal size of the 1554 Series in solid RAL 7035 light gray polycarbonate. The ordering table lists it at 7.87 x 4.72 in with a 3.58 in (91 mm) total height, giving integrators and OEM engineers length for a longer DIN rail run or PC board in outdoor and wet locations.
Solid gray polycarbonate is rated UL94 5VA (5VA @ 3 mm on the drawing). The enclosure is UV stabilized for outdoor use, cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, and lists IP68 and NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 & 13 on its part page. The series rates polycarbonate versions IK08 per IEC 62262:2021 with a -40°C to +110°C recommended operating range.
Inside the 1554U2GY the drawing shows 84.50 mm (3.33 in) of height and 192.13 mm (7.56 in) of length, and the part page lists a maximum PC board of 106.6 x 190.45 mm. Molded DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts or standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards are provided, and the 1554UPL steel inner panel is available separately.
The purchased assembly includes box, lid, four cover screws and a preformed silicone gasket supplied loose. Self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws seat in corrosion resistant inserts; recommended torque is 43-57 oz f-in (30-40 cN-m). Mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and accept the 1554FT foot kit. Shipping weight is 0.98 lbs (0.44 kg), shrink wrapped.
