The 1554T2GY is a rectangular 1554 Series enclosure in solid RAL 7035 light gray polycarbonate, sized 180 x 120 x 90 mm nominal (7.09 x 4.72 in with a 3.58 in / 91 mm total height in the ordering table). Its longer, narrower footprint suits controls engineers and integrators housing a row of DIN rail devices or an elongated PC board outdoors.
Solid gray polycarbonate is rated UL94 5VA (5VA @ 3 mm on the drawing), UV stabilized for outdoor use, and cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324. The part page lists IP68 and NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 & 13, and the series adds IK08 impact resistance per IEC 62262:2021 and a -40°C to +110°C recommended operating range.
Per the drawing the 1554T2GY offers 84.50 mm (3.33 in) of inside height and 172.13 mm (6.78 in) of inside length; the part page lists a maximum PC board of 106.68 x 167.13 mm. DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts or standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and card guides for 1.5 mm boards are molded in. The matching 1554HPL steel inner panel is ordered separately.
The purchased assembly includes box, lid, four cover screws and a preformed silicone gasket supplied loose. The self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws thread into corrosion resistant inserts at a recommended 43-57 oz f-in (30-40 cN-m). Four 4.00 mm mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and accept the 1554FT foot kit. Shipping weight is 0.89 lbs (0.40 kg), shrink wrapped.
