The 1554QA2GYCL is a 140 x 140 x 90 mm (5.51 x 5.51 x 3.54 in) enclosure with a light gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate box and a clear polycarbonate lid. The transparent cover makes meters, displays and indicator lights visible, while the 90 mm depth leaves room for taller components or DIN rail devices.
The clear lid is rated UL94 V-0. As a polycarbonate 1554 enclosure it is cUL and UL 508A listed (file E65324), UV stabilized for outdoor use, rated IP68 and independently tested to IP66, IP67 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. The impact rating is IK08 and the recommended operating temperature is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
A tongue and groove lid and one-piece high temperature silicone gasket, supplied loose, protect against oil, dust and water. Four M4 stainless steel screws are included; they thread into corrosion resistant bushings and are self-captivating after first use. Recommended cover screw torque is 43-57 oz f-in (30-40 cN-m).
The drawing gives 131.32 x 128.38 mm inside with 83.70 mm of height. Molded DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts, #6 self-tapping standoffs and 1.5 mm card guides accept boards up to 127 x 119 mm, or the 1554QPL steel inner panel. The 1554QA2GYCL mounts through four 4.30 mm holes outside the gasket, which also fit the 1554FT foot kit. Shipping weight is 0.82 lbs (0.37 kg).
