The 1554QA2GYSL combines a light gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate box with a smoked polycarbonate lid in the deeper 140 x 140 x 90 mm (5.51 x 5.51 x 3.54 in) size. The tinted lid allows lights and displays to show through, and the depth suits DIN rail devices and taller PC board assemblies in outdoor or wet locations.
Polycarbonate 1554 enclosures are UV stabilized, cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, and independently tested to IP66, IP67, IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. The smoked lid has a UL94 V-0 flame rating, the impact rating is IK08 per IEC 62262:2021, and the recommended operating range is -40°C to +110°C.
Sealing comes from a two-piece tongue and groove lid and a replaceable silicone gasket shipped loose inside the box. Four M4 stainless steel machine screws are included and seat in corrosion resistant bushings; torque them to 43-57 oz f-in (30-40 cN-m).
Inside, the drawing shows 131.32 x 128.38 mm and 83.70 mm of height. DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts, #6 self-tapping standoffs and 1.5 mm card guides are molded in, and boards up to 127 x 119 mm fit. Accessories include the 1554QPL steel inner panel, 1554FT foot kit, 1554QGASKET gasket and SC576-50 screws. Shipping weight is 0.82 lbs (0.37 kg).
