Hammond 1554QAGY 140mm Square, 90mm Deep Gray ABS Enclosure

The 1554QAGY is the deeper ABS member of the 140 x 140 mm 1554 family, at 5.51 x 5.51 x 3.54 in (140 x 140 x 90 mm). The extra height over the 60 mm 1554QGY gives room for taller components, terminal blocks on DIN rail or stacked boards, in a light gray RAL 7035 housing with a matching gray ABS lid for indoor installations.

The drawing shows an inside height of 83.70 mm and inside length and width of 131.32 x 128.38 mm. Molded DIN rail tabs, threaded M3 brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards are all included; a PC board up to 127 x 119 mm fits, or use the separately ordered 1554QPL steel inner panel.

The flat lid closes on a two-piece tongue and groove seal with a replaceable high temperature UL listed silicone gasket, which is shipped loose. Four M4 stainless steel machine screws come with it and thread into corrosion resistant bushings for repeated access; recommended torque is 43-57 oz f-in (30-40 cN-m).

Made from general purpose ABS with a UL94 HB rating, the 1554QAGY has been tested to IP66, carries an IK07 impact rating and is recommended for -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F). It is not UL listed. Four 4.30 mm mounting holes outside the gasket channel also accept the 1554FT foot kit. Shipping weight is 0.82 lbs (0.37 kg).
