Hammond 1554Q2GYCL 140mm Square, 60mm High Polycarbonate Box, Clear Lid

The 1554Q2GYCL pairs a light gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate box with a clear polycarbonate lid, so indicators, displays or wiring inside can be seen without opening the enclosure. At 5.51 x 5.51 x 2.36 in (140 x 140 x 60 mm) it is a compact option for integrators and OEM engineers housing circuit boards or DIN rail components indoors or outdoors.

Polycarbonate versions of the 1554 series are UV stabilized for outdoor use and have been independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 as well as NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. They are cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324 and carry an IK08 impact rating. The clear lid has a UL94 V-0 flame rating, and the recommended operating range is -40°C to +110°C.

The lid seals through a tongue and groove joint and a replaceable one-piece silicone gasket supplied loose inside the box. Four M4 stainless steel screws are included and thread into corrosion resistant inserts; they become self-captivating after first installation. Recommended cover screw torque is 43-57 oz f-in (30-40 cN-m).

Inside you get 132.36 x 128.69 mm of floor area and 53.70 mm of height, with molded DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts, #6 self-tapping standoffs and 1.5 mm card guides. Boards up to 127 x 127.5 mm fit, or add the 1554QPL steel inner panel. Four 4.30 mm mounting holes outside the gasket channel also take the 1554FT foot kit. Shipping weight is 0.64 lbs (0.29 kg).
