The 1554Q2GY is a 140 x 140 x 60 mm (5.51 x 5.51 x 2.36 in) square enclosure with box and lid in light gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate. It offers a larger footprint than the 120 mm sizes for OEM engineers and integrators housing wider PC boards or DIN rail components indoors or outdoors.
The drawing shows 60.10 mm overall height, with an inside length of 132.36 mm, inside width of 128.69 mm and inside height of 53.70 mm. Maximum P.C. board size is 127 x 127.5 mm. DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards are molded in, and the 1554QPL steel inner panel fits.
The flat lid closes on a two-piece tongue and groove joint with a one-piece high-temperature silicone gasket, supplied loose, and is secured by four self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws in corrosion resistant inserts at 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m). Four 4.30 mm wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and accept the 1554FT foot kit.
The 1554Q2GY is cUL and UL 508A listed (E65324), UV stabilized for outdoor use, tested to IP66, IP67, IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, and rated IK08 and UL94-5VA, with a recommended operating range of -40°C to +110°C.
