The 1554QA2GY is a solid gray polycarbonate enclosure measuring 5.51 x 5.51 x 3.54 in (140 x 140 x 90 mm), with both box and lid in light gray RAL 7035. It is aimed at electricians, integrators and OEM designers who need a deeper, fully sealed housing for control electronics or DIN rail devices that may be installed outdoors or in washdown areas.
The solid gray polycarbonate carries a UL94 5VA flame rating and the enclosure is cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324. It is UV stabilized for outdoor use, rated IP68, and polycarbonate versions have been independently tested to IP66, IP67, IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13. The impact rating is IK08 per IEC 62262:2021 and recommended operating temperature is -40°C to +110°C.

The lid seals via a tongue and groove joint and a one-piece silicone gasket supplied loose, and is held by four included M4 stainless steel screws in corrosion resistant inserts (43-57 oz f-in recommended torque). Mount the 1554QA2GY through the four 4.30 mm holes located outside the gasket channel, or fit the 1554FT foot kit. Shipping weight is 0.82 lbs (0.37 kg).
