The 1554NL2GYCL combines the 45 mm (1.77 in) low-profile 1554NL box with a clear polycarbonate lid. The light gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate base and see-through cover suit slim assemblies where an integrator wants LEDs, displays or wiring visible without breaking the seal.
Nominal size is 120 x 120 x 45 mm (4.72 x 4.72 x 1.77 in). The drawing shows 45.45 mm overall height, 39.35 mm inside height and 112.99 mm inside length, and the listed maximum P.C. board is 107.7 x 106.6 mm. Molded DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts, #6 self-tapping standoffs and 1.5 mm card guides give mounting options; the 1554NPL steel inner panel is sold separately.
The clear lid is rated UL94 V-0. It closes onto a two-piece tongue and groove joint with a one-piece silicone gasket supplied loose, and is held by four self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws in corrosion resistant inserts, torqued to 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m).
The 1554NL2GYCL is listed with NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 and IP68, is cUL and UL 508A listed (E65324), UV stabilized for outdoor use, IK08 impact rated and recommended for -40°C to +110°C. Four 4.30 mm wall-mounting holes outside the gasket also take the 1554FT foot kit.
