The 1554NLGY is the general purpose ABS version of the low-profile 1554NL size, measuring 120 x 120 x 45 mm (4.72 x 4.72 x 1.77 in). Its light gray RAL 7035 ABS box and lid make a slim, sealed indoor housing for flat PC boards and shallow DIN rail components.
ABS versions use general purpose material rated UL94-HB and are intended for indoor use. They are not UL listed, but have been tested to and meet IP66, and carry an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021. The recommended operating range is -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F).
The drawing shows 45.45 mm overall height, 39.35 mm inside height and 112.99 mm inside length; maximum P.C. board size is 107.7 x 106.6 mm. Molded DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts, #6 self-tapping standoffs and card guides for 1.5 mm boards are included in the molding, with the 1554NPL steel inner panel available separately.
The lid seals with a tongue and groove joint and loose-supplied silicone gasket and fastens with four self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws (43-57 ozf-in / 30-40 cN-m). Four 4.30 mm wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and also fit the 1554FT foot kit to the 1554NLGY.
