The 1554NL2GY is the low-profile member of the 120 x 120 mm 1554 family, with a total height of only 45 mm (1.77 in). Box and lid are light gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate, making it a slim, UL listed housing for OEM engineers mounting flat PC boards or shallow DIN rail components.
Per the drawing, overall height is 45.45 mm, inside height 39.35 mm and inside length 112.99 mm. The listed maximum P.C. board size is 107.7 x 106.6 mm. DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards are molded in, and the 1554NPL steel inner panel fits.
The flat lid seals with tongue and groove construction and a loose-supplied one-piece silicone gasket, fastened by four self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws into corrosion resistant inserts (43-57 ozf-in / 30-40 cN-m recommended). Four 4.30 mm wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and accept the 1554FT foot kit.
Polycarbonate versions such as the 1554NL2GY are UV stabilized for outdoor use, cUL and UL 508A listed (E65324), tested to IP66, IP67, IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, rated IK08 and UL94-5VA, and recommended for -40°C to +110°C.
