Hammond 1554NGY 120x120x61mm Gray Abs IP66 Indoor Enclosure

The 1554NGY is the general purpose ABS version of the 1554N size: a 120 x 120 x 61 mm (4.72 x 4.72 x 2.40 in) light gray RAL 7035 box and lid intended for indoor use. It gives electronics builders and facilities teams a sealed housing for PC boards and DIN rail parts where UL listing and outdoor exposure are not required.

The ABS material carries a UL94-HB flammability rating. It is not UL listed, but has been tested to and meets IP66, and carries an IK07 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021. Recommended operating temperature is -20°C to +60°C (-4°F to +140°F).

The flat lid uses the same tongue and groove joint and one-piece silicone gasket (shipped loose) as the polycarbonate models, secured by four self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws in corrosion resistant inserts at 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m). Inside length is 112.91 mm and inside height 54.50 mm, with space for a PC board up to 106.68 x 107.7 mm.

Molded DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts, #6 self-tapping standoffs and 1.5 mm card guides are built in, and the 1554NPL steel inner panel fits the 1554NGY. Four 4.00 mm wall-mounting holes outside the gasket channel double as the attachment point for the 1554FT foot kit.
