The 1554MPB15 is a 15-hole pushbutton enclosure for 22.5 mm operators, offered only in the 22 mm hole format. It gives OEMs and integrators a single sealed polycarbonate station for a full panel of push buttons, pilot lights and selectors, whether outdoors or in wet, dusty or wash-down environments.
Dimensions are 11.81 in H x 7.87 in W x 3.54 in D with lid (300 x 200 x 90 mm), based on the 1554X enclosure. Shipping weight is 2.39 lbs (1.08 kg). An optional 1554XPL galvanized 16 ga. steel inner panel (11.22 x 7.28 in, 285 x 185 mm) includes mounting hardware, and 1554FT mounting feet are available.
The body is light gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate, UL94 5VA and suitable for outdoor use, with lid and mounting holes located outside the gasket seal. Six self-captivating M4 stainless steel machine screws thread into integral stainless steel bushings; the recommended torque for this size is 8-9 lbf-in (90-100 cN-m). The preformed high temperature silicone gasket is replaceable. Internal DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts and standoffs, and card guides for 1.5 mm PC boards are molded in.
The series is rated IP66 and NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13; the 1554MPB15 drawing carries the cUL US Listed mark (E65324, Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P) and states the polycarbonate version is UL 508A approved. It includes box, lid, 6 cover screws and gasket, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
