The 1554LA2GYSL is a deep square gray polycarbonate enclosure with a smoked polycarbonate lid, 4.13 x 4.13 x 3.54 in (105 x 105 x 90 mm). It gives taller devices a tinted, watertight cover through which status lights can still be seen.
The smoked lid carries a UL94 V-0 rating. The polycarbonate is UV stabilized for outdoor use; polycarbonate versions are cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324 and independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 as well as NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, with the part page listing IP68. The impact rating is IK08 per IEC 62262:2021 and the recommended range is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).

A two piece tongue and groove lid and one piece silicone gasket (supplied loose, replaced by 1554LGASKET) keep out oil, dust and water. Four included self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws thread into corrosion resistant bushings. The 1554LA2GYSL ships shrink wrapped at 0.55 lbs (0.25 kg) and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
