The 1554LA2GYCL is a deep square polycarbonate enclosure with a clear polycarbonate lid, measuring 4.13 x 4.13 x 3.54 in (105 x 105 x 90 mm). The see-through cover and 90 mm height make it a fit for taller devices whose indicators or displays need to be read in place.
Clear lids are rated UL94 V-0. The polycarbonate is UV stabilized for outdoor use, and polycarbonate versions are cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324 and independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13; the part page lists IP68. Impact rating is IK08 per IEC 62262:2021, with a recommended range of -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
The lid closes on a two piece tongue and groove joint with a replaceable silicone gasket supplied loose, and four included self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws thread into corrosion resistant bushings (43-57 ozf-in / 30-40 cN-m).
Inside there is 96.32 x 93.19 x 83.70 mm of space with molded DIN rail tabs, vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards and M3 brass inserts that also accept #6 self-tapping screws. Boards up to 92.57 x 93 mm or the optional 1554LPL steel inner panel can be mounted. The 1554LA2GYCL ships at 0.55 lbs (0.25 kg), shrink wrapped, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
