Hammond 1554L2GYSL 105x105x60 mm Smoked Lid Polycarbonate Enclosure

The 1554L2GYSL is a square gray polycarbonate enclosure fitted with a smoked polycarbonate lid, measuring 4.13 x 4.13 x 2.36 in (105 x 105 x 60 mm). The tinted cover suits compact field devices where status lights or displays should be visible but contents less conspicuous.

The smoked lid is rated UL94 V-0. The polycarbonate is UV stabilized for outdoor use and the polycarbonate versions are cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324. They have been independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 and to NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13; the part page lists IP68. Impact rating is IK08 per IEC 62262:2021, and the recommended operating range runs from -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).

Four included self-captivating M4 stainless steel machine screws hold the lid, threading into corrosion resistant bushings for repeated service access at 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m). The two piece tongue and groove joint is sealed by a one piece high temperature silicone gasket shipped loose; replacements are 1554LGASKET.

The interior measures 97.36 x 93.35 x 53.70 mm and includes molded DIN rail tabs, vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards and M3 brass inserts that accept #6 self-tapping screws. Mount the 1554LPL steel inner panel, or boards up to 92.57 x 93 mm. The 1554L2GYSL ships shrink wrapped at 0.44 lbs (0.20 kg) and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
