The 1554KGY is the deep general purpose ABS model in the 160 mm long footprint of the 1554 Series. Listed at 6.3 x 3.5 x 3.5 in (160 x 89 x 89 mm) with a 3.58 in (91 mm) total height, it is aimed at integrators and OEM designers housing taller PCB stacks or DIN rail devices indoors.
The enclosure is molded from light gray RAL 7035 ABS rated UL94 HB. Its flat lid uses two piece tongue and groove construction with a replaceable one piece silicone gasket (shipped loose) to keep out oil, dust and water, and is fastened with four included self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws running into corrosion resistant bushings.
Inside, the drawing shows 152.13 mm [5.99 in] of length, 78.13 mm [3.08 in] of width and 84.50 mm [3.33 in] of height. Molded DIN rail tabs, vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards and M3 brass inserts that accept #6 self-tapping screws give several mounting options, and the 1554JPL steel inner panel can be ordered separately.
