The 1554K2GYSL is the smoked-lid member of the 1554K family: a gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate box with a smoke tinted polycarbonate lid, measuring 6.3 x 3.5 x 3.5 in (160 x 89 x 89 mm) with a 3.58 in (91 mm) total height. It fits applications where LEDs or displays should show through while contents stay discreet.
The smoked lid carries a UL94 V-0 flame rating. Polycarbonate versions are UV stabilized for outdoor use, cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324 and independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13; the part page lists IP68 for this part. Expect an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and a recommended operating range of -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
A two piece tongue and groove joint with a replaceable high temperature silicone gasket (shipped loose, part 1554JGASKET for replacements) keeps out oil, dust and water. Four included self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws thread into corrosion resistant bushings for repeated access.
Internal space measures 152.13 x 78.13 x 84.50 mm. Molded DIN rail tabs, vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards and M3 brass inserts that also accept #6 self-tapping screws support boards, DIN rail or the optional 1554JPL steel inner panel. The 1554K2GYSL weighs 0.66 lbs (0.30 kg) shipped, comes shrink wrapped, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
