The 1554LA2GY is a deep, square solid gray polycarbonate enclosure, 4.13 x 4.13 x 3.54 in (105 x 105 x 90 mm). It offers the 105 mm footprint of the 1554L family with extra height, giving integrators room for taller devices in outdoor or washdown locations.
Solid gray polycarbonate carries a UL94 5VA rating and is UV stabilized for outdoor use. Polycarbonate versions are cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324 and independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13; the part page lists IP68. Impact rating is IK08 per IEC 62262:2021, and the recommended range is -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
Inside, the drawing gives 96.32 mm [3.79 in] of length, 93.19 mm [3.67 in] of width and 83.70 mm [3.30 in] of height. Molded DIN rail tabs, vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards and M3 brass inserts that accept #6 self-tapping screws support mounting, with boards up to 92.57 x 93 mm or the optional 1554LPL steel inner panel.
The two piece tongue and groove lid seals with a one piece silicone gasket supplied loose inside, and is fastened by four included self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws at 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m). Wall-mounting holes outside the gasket channel also accept the 1554FT foot kit. Shipping weight is 0.55 lbs (0.25 kg); RoHS and REACH compliant.
