The 1554K2GYCL pairs a gray RAL 7035 polycarbonate box with a clear polycarbonate lid, so indicators, displays or wiring stay visible without opening the enclosure. It measures 6.3 x 3.5 x 3.5 in (160 x 89 x 89 mm), with a 3.58 in (91 mm) total height, and suits system integrators and OEMs building monitored field electronics.
Clear lids carry a UL94 V-0 flame rating. The polycarbonate is UV stabilized for outdoor use, cUL and UL 508A listed under file E65324, and independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 along with NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13; the part page lists IP68. Impact rating is IK08 per IEC 62262:2021, with a recommended operating range of -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
Sealing comes from a two piece tongue and groove lid and a replaceable one piece silicone gasket shipped loose inside. The lid fastens with four included self-captivating M4 stainless steel machine screws threaded into corrosion resistant bushings, tightened to 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m).
The interior offers 152.13 x 78.13 x 84.50 mm of space with molded DIN rail tabs, vertical card guides for 1.5 mm thick boards and M3 brass inserts that also take #6 self-tapping screws. Add the 1554JPL steel inner panel or 1554FT foot kit as needed. Shipping weight is 0.66 lbs (0.30 kg), shrink wrapped, and the part is RoHS and REACH compliant.
