The 1554H2GYSL is a 180 x 120 x 61 mm watertight enclosure with a light gray (RAL 7035) polycarbonate box and a smoked polycarbonate lid. It suits OEM engineers, panel builders and integrators who need to house printed circuit boards or DIN rail mounted components while keeping indicators or displays partly visible through a tinted cover.
Polycarbonate versions in the 1554 Series are UV stabilized for outdoor use. The smoked lid carries a UL94V-0 flame rating, and the enclosure is cUL and UL 508A listed under file #E65324. It has been independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 and to NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, with an IK08 impact rating per IEC 62262:2021 and a recommended operating temperature of -40°C to +110°C (-40°F to +230°F).
Inside, the box offers roughly 172.91 x 107.00 x 54.50 mm of space and accepts a PC board up to 106.68 x 167.13 mm. Molded DIN rail tabs, M3 brass inserts, standoffs for #6 self-tapping screws and vertical card guides for 1.5 mm boards give several mounting routes; the 1554HPL steel inner panel is ordered separately.
The two-piece tongue and groove lid seals against a one-piece silicone gasket, supplied loose. Four self-captivating M4 stainless steel screws thread into corrosion resistant bushings; recommended torque is 43-57 ozf-in (30-40 cN-m). Wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel and also take the 1554FT foot kit. Shipping weight is 0.7 lbs (0.32 kg).
